Assembly District 1 Candidate Tenessa Audette Elected Mayor of Redding
REDDING, CA - Tenessa Audette, candidate for Assembly District 1 and current Redding Mayor Pro Tem proudly announces the Redding City Council has voted Audette Mayor. This vote is a significant show of confidence in her abilities to bring community members together, exercise responsible and transparent fiscal management, and grow the local economy.
“I have had the privilege of knowing Tenessa for about 13 years. I have witnessed her passion for family, for the Lord and her passion for the city of Redding and its people. Tenessa is a dedicated worker who strives to solve problems and make Redding a better place to live, that’s why I believe Tenessa will be a very effective Mayor,” stated Redding Councilmember Jack Munns.
Audette's election as Mayor comes with a growing roster of influential leaders supporting her campaign for Assembly, including Senator Shannon Grove, Assemblywoman Marie Waldron, Shasta County Supervisor Mary Rickert, Modoc County Supervisor Geri Bryne, Modoc County Supervisor Ned Coe, El Dorado County Supervisor George Turnboo, Shasta County District Attorney Stephanie Bridgett, retired Shasta County Sheriff Jim Pope, Amador County Sheriff Gary Redman, Redding City Councilwoman Julie Winter, Redding City Councilman Jack Munns, Los Rios Community College District Trustee John Knight, the Placer County Republican Party, and the El Dorado County Republican Party.
In addition to serving on the Redding City Council, Audette is a small business owner, has managed numerous successful campaigns, and is happily married to Jeff Audette. Together, they have three outstanding teenagers – Grace (Kat), Annabelle, and Jaxon. In addition, Audette has four years experience working in the State Legislature and has taught constitutional principles for the last six years.
