Modoc County Supervisor Geri Byrne Endorses Tenessa Audette
August 14th, 2023 | 1st Assembly District candidate Tenessa Audette announced that she was endorsed by Modoc County Supervisor Geri Byrne.
"I am supporting Tenessa Audette for the 1st Assembly District,” said Supervisor Byrne. “We need someone with political expertise and integrity to best represent our vast District."
"Having spent 44 years residing in Tulelake, Byrne's deep-rooted commitment to agriculture in Northern California is truly commendable," said 1st Assembly District Candidate Tenessa Audette. "Her remarkable tenure on the Modoc County Board of Supervisors, now in its fourth term, showcases her dedication to the community. Byrne's proactive approach to the North State’s water issues led her to Sacramento, where she engaged with legislators to address these challenges head-on. Most recently, she was elected by her peers to serve as Second Vice Chair of the Rural County Representatives of California (RCRC). I look forward to collaborating with Supervisor Byrne as a strong local partner, addressing 1st Assembly District issues at the state level."
Byrne joins several other 1st Assembly District individuals who are also endorsing Tenessa Audette such as Shasta County Supervisor Mary Rickert; Shasta County District Attorney Stephanie Bridgett; And Redding City Councilwoman Julie Winter.
Tenessa Audette, Redding Mayor Pro Tem and District Representative for California's 1st Senate District, is a California native with a degree in Political Science from Sonoma State. She has extensive experience running political campaigns and is dedicated to serving the community. Tenessa is happily married to Jeff Audette, and together they raise three exceptional teenagers, Grace (Kat), Annabelle, and Jaxon.
