Senator Shannon Grove Endorses Tenessa Audette for State Assembly District One
REDDING, CA - Tenessa Audette, candidate for Assembly District 1, has secured the endorsement of Senator Shannon Grove, one of California’s most influential conservative leaders. A longtime mentor to Audette, Grove has distinguished herself for her tenacity and determination on behalf of common sense solutions, recently earning the passage of Senate Bill 14, a bill to increase penalties for sex trafficking minors.
“Tenessa’s policy experience, ability to bring people together, and strong commitment to conservative principles make her the right leader to represent District 1 in the State Assembly,” Grove said. “California faces major challenges such as the fentanyl epidemic and unrelenting attacks on parents’ rights. I know Tenessa’s heart and I’ve seen her in action. I’m looking forward to partnering with her in the Capitol to solve problems and make life better for Californians.”
Grove joins a series of influential leaders and organizations announcing their support for Audette, including Shasta County Supervisor Mary Rickert, Modoc County Supervisor Geri Bryne, Modoc County Supervisor Ned Coe, El Dorado County Supervisor George Turnboo, Shasta County District Attorney Stephanie Bridgett, retired Shasta County Sheriff Jim Pope, Amador County Sheriff Gary Redman, Redding City Councilwoman Julie Winter, Redding City Councilman Jack Munns, and the Placer County Republican Party.
Tenessa Audette currently serves as Redding Mayor Pro Tem and brings a wealth of expertise to her campaign. With a degree in Political Science from Sonoma State, eight years of successful campaign management, five years devoted to teaching constitutional principles, and over four years working diligently for the State Legislature, Audette attributes her front runner position in the race to her invaluable experience, unwavering passion, and dedicated focus on winning solutions.
Beyond her professional and political journey, Tenessa Audette finds joy in her happily married life to Jeff Audette. Together, they nurture three outstanding teenagers – Grace (Kat), Annabelle, and Jaxon. This personal fulfillment further reflects the strength and balance she brings to her candidacy for the Assembly.
