Marking a major milestone in the race for California’s First District Assembly, Tenessa Audette has locked in endorsements from five of the six Republican Central Committees, representing a resounding 80% of registered Republicans in the district. As the only candidate endorsed by local committees, Audette has earned the backing of El Dorado, Placer, Nevada, Siskiyou, and most recently, Shasta County—home to nearly 40% of the district’s Republican voters.

By achieving this threshold of local support, Audette now qualifies to be considered for the California Republican Party (CAGOP) state-wide endorsement. News on this is anticipated in the coming weeks.

The momentum behind Audette’s campaign continues to accelerate, with major figures like Congressman Doug LaMalfa publicly backing her candidacy. LaMalfa, who is actively campaigning for Audette, emphasized the importance of visible and accessible representation for the North State.

“Tenessa is going to work hard for us and be visible and present in the district with the people,” said LaMalfa. “She’s going to be a great partner in helping solve the issues we have around Northern California at the state and federal level, and I’m looking forward to working with her.”

Audette’s growing momentum will be on full display at a fundraising event on October 10 at C.R. Gibbs in Redding, hosted by local business and community leaders Ed Rullman and Leslie Goddard Williem. Congressman LaMalfa will attend as the featured guest.

In addition to the local central committee endorsements, Audette is proudly endorsed by local law enforcement and elected leaders including Modoc County Sheriff William “Tex” Dowdy, Modoc County Supervisors Ned Coe, Geri Byrne, and Kathi M. Rhoads, and Amador County Sheriff Gary Redman. Audette’s support includes organizations such as the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association, California Rifle and Pistol Association, California Women’s Leadership Association, and Laborers' International Union of North America (LiUNA!).
