Tenessa Audette, Mayor of Redding and candidate for State Assembly District 1, is honored to announce endorsements by two prominent Lassen County leaders: Lassen County Supervisor Gary Bridges and Lassen County Supervisor-Elect Mike Scanlan. Audette continues to travel across all 11 counties of District 1, and these endorsements are the result of Audette's personal visits where she loves to hear directly from the people and share her commitment to representing their values in Sacramento.

"Tenessa sees the unique needs of our rural communities and is dedicated to the constitution, fiscal responsibility, and representing our interests at the state level," said Gary Bridges. "Beyond her commitment to work for the people, she also cares for them. She’s the right choice for our district."

Gary Bridges, a third generation logger, has served as Lassen County Supervisor for the past four years, guided by principles of fiscal responsibility, sustainable economic development, and transparent governance. With a deep commitment to community service, Bridges has been an active volunteer with Lassen Family Services, where he served for over two decades, including ten years on the Board of Directors. His endorsement of Audette highlights their shared vision for addressing the critical needs of residents, including safety, access to homeowners insurance, and standing up for the conservative values that have shaped Lassen County.

"Tenessa is a leader who understands the challenges our communities face," said Mike Scanlan. "Her approach to problem-solving and her dedication to our region's values makes her the ideal candidate to represent all citizens, families, and parents of Lassen County in the State Assembly."

Mike Scanlan, Supervisor-Elect for Lassen County, brings a wealth of experience in public service and community leadership. As a pastor in Susanville for 16 years and a former police officer and sergeant, Scanlan has dedicated his life to serving others. His work in disaster relief, addiction recovery, and community building has earned him deep respect throughout Lassen County. His endorsement of Audette shows alignment with Lassen County’s family values and community needs.

Bridges and Scanlan join influential leaders and organizations around the North State and California in supporting Audette, including the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association, California Women’s Leadership Association, California Rifle and Pistol Association, former Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell, Senator Shannon Grove, Assemblywoman Marie Waldron, Modoc County Sheriff William “Tex” Dowdy, Lassen County Planning Commissioner Carol Clark, retired Lassen County State Parole Agent Marvin Clark, Shasta County Supervisor Mary Rickert, Modoc County Supervisor Geri Byrne, Modoc County Supervisor Ned Coe, Modoc County Supervisor Kathie M Rhoads, Plumas County Supervisor Kevin Goss, El Dorado County Supervisor George Turnboo, Sierra County Supervisor Sharon Dryden, Sierra County Supervisor Terry LeBlanc, Siskiyou County Supervisor Ray Haupt, Siskiyou Supervisor Ed Valenzuela, Supervisor Nancy Ogren, Shasta County District Attorney Stephanie Bridgett, retired Shasta County Sheriff Jim Pope, Amador County Sheriff Gary Redman, Redding Vice Mayor Julie Winter, Redding Mayor Pro Tem Jack Munns, South Tahoe City Councilmember Tamara Wallace, Laborers' International Union of North America (LIUNA), Los Rios Community College District Trustee John Knight, Retired El Dorado County Office of Education Trustee Georgianne Knight, Reform California, the El Dorado County Republican Party, the Nevada County Republican Party, the Placer County Republican Party and Siskiyou County Republican Party.

Audette’s campaign is focused on restoring California to a state that works for all its residents. Her priorities include defending against catastrophic wildfires through forest management and restoring the Timber industry, supporting law enforcement to create safe and thriving communities, reducing regulatory burdens for farms, ranches, and small businesses, and school choice.

"I will fight to lower taxes and cost of living while protecting water for farms and ranches. My job is to fight for and represent the North State,” said Audette. “The overreaching California bureaucracy needs to be kept in check, prioritizing the people first. Instead of reactive crisis management, we need to proactively manage natural and fiscal resources better so our communities can thrive. California is broken and the status quo will not fix it. I’m running to shake up Sacramento and be a strong voice for the people.”
