Sheriff Mike Fisher & Supervisor Paul Roen of Sierra County Endorse Tenessa Audette for Assembly

Tenessa Audette’s campaign for California’s First Assembly District has received key endorsements from two prominent Sierra County officials: Sheriff Mike Fisher and Supervisor Paul Roen. Their endorsements are the latest as Audette continues to receive support from leaders focused on critical issues such as public safety, wildfire mitigation, and sustainable economic growth for the North State.

Sierra County Sheriff Mike Fisher, who has served the community for over a decade in law enforcement leadership, voiced his support for Audette’s approach to public safety. “Tenessa has a clear understanding of the unique challenges our rural communities face. Her commitment to prioritizing resources for law enforcement ensures our region’s safety remains a top concern. I trust her to represent the needs of our citizens and keep our communities safe,” said Fisher.

Sierra County Supervisor Paul Roen, a veteran advocate for forest management and the timber industry, announced his endorsement following Audette joining him and forestry crews for a ride-along to see firsthand the region’s challenges. “With Tenessa’s hands-on approach, I know she’s serious about addressing wildfire prevention and forest health. She understands the balance needed between environmental stewardship and the economic well-being of our communities. Tenessa’s leadership will bring real, lasting solutions to the North State,” said Roen. His endorsement makes him the third Sierra County Supervisor to support Audette, joining Supervisors Sharon Dryden and Terry LeBlanc.

Roen’s endorsement strengthens the growing number of leaders rallying behind Audette’s candidacy, including Congressman Doug LaMalfa, Senator Shannon Grove, Board of Equalization Member Ted Gaines, Modoc County Sheriff William “Tex” Dowdy, Amador County Sheriff Gary Redman, Siskiyou County Supervisor Ray Haupt, and Shasta County District Attorney Stephanie Bridgett. Audette’s campaign continues to attract endorsements from neighboring counties, including supervisors from Plumas, Nevada, and Lassen counties, reflecting broad regional support for her vision of effective, accountable governance.

Audette has also earned backing from key organizations such as the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association, California Rifle and Pistol Association, American Independent Party, California Women’s Leadership Association, and Laborers' International Union of North America (LiUNA!).
